Heather Renee Coleman-Cox
C.E.O.
Heather Coleman-Cox is a passionate African American who embarked on a journey to Ghana in August of 2023. Amidst her expeditions into the country’s northern region, she encountered a stark reality; the arduous struggle of villages to secure clean water. Touched by this plight, she was ignited with a fierce determination to make a difference.
With unwavering resolve, she rallied local allies and established GHANA AQUAVENTURE EMMANUEL FOUNDATION (G.A.V.E.). Together, they embarked on a mission to bring the vital lifeline of water to underserved villages. Janikura and Larabanga were chosen as the inaugural beneficiaries of this noble endeavor.
Returning in April 2024, Heather stood proudly amidst the dusty roads of Janikura and the ancient pathways of Larabanga to commission the borehole projects. These wells now gushing with life-giving water and storage tanks, stand as monuments to hope and resilience.
However,, Heather’s vision extends beyond mere infrastructure. Recognizing the challenges of erratic electricity supply, the G.A.V.E foundation is poised to illuminate these communities with solar power. Their commitment to sustainability echoes their enduring dedication to Ghana’s prosperity.
Yet, this is just the beginning. With boundless optimism and an indomitable spirit, Heather and her team vow to continue their tireless efforts, enriching the lives of countless more communities across Ghana. Together they forge a path towards a brighter, more equitable future for all.
